Kaido is the only One Piece villian to fight Luffy enough to actually be "tired of hearing him say gum-gum," thats actually really funny.

TwinklingMind • 11 months ago

The entire series is made up of Luffy’s Gum-Gum catchphrases. it’s almost like it’s supposed to emphasize that there’s a whole misconception on what it’s power is.

KeysOfHues • 11 months ago

all of his Gum-Gum catchphrases in this ep were "Gum-Gum no HHAAAAGGGGHHHH" lmao

Vince :D • 11 months ago

I got spoiled a lil bit so I understood what you meant. yh that part, and when the Navy said "Isn't this the furthest humankind can go", the author is dropping hints, pretty cool! 😄

Hawk's Eye • 11 months ago

Manga reader here but I didn't understand what he meant by, "Isn't this the furthest humanity can go?"

jahsp • 11 months ago

jolly boy reference to the real fruits power which isn't rubber at all. Rubber is just luffy's imagination. It makes sense because how the heck can he do what he does. Especially 2nd gear which was a complete copy of the cipor pol dude lucci

TERRILL CRAIG • 11 months ago

No the fruit still gives the properties of rubber its not luffy's imagination. The rubber part is the baseline of the devil fruit

King Luffy • 6 months ago

I kinda agree with you but still not sure what it is actually about

Kizaru77 • 11 months ago

if you didnt read the manga, better not talk about it to not get spoiled.

Vince :D • 11 months ago

maybe I'm wrong because I dunno much but I assumed it was a reference to Luffy's fruit of a "god", but if that's wrong then maybe he was foreshadowing a pirate war against the celestials which are treated as gods of the whole world

Raunak KORI • 10 months ago

🙏🙏🙇🙇

Byno • 11 months ago

My favourite is Gomu Gomu no Boh XD

Lol Kaido will keep hearing that for the rest of his life even after the battle is over I'm damn sure of that😂

ShoutinginaEmptyvalley • 11 months ago

just punch him With your sticky golden Goo already

Solar • 11 months ago

Hey let’s not forget about that navy soldier Grount he also got tired of hearing Luffy saying Gum Gum, so technically Kaido’s the second person who said that

rzq4_. • 11 months ago

filler doesnt count

Solar • 11 months ago

I don’t read the manga so to me, every character is a part of the series, including that guy in this anime even if it wasn’t that long

AnimatorME • 11 months ago

that doesn't how it works buddy
it's a filler, cuz not part of the story in a main direct way

I remmebr how people trashe Naruto ending being all fillers

MGK • 11 months ago

Grount never fought luffy 1 on 1 and last tht long so no 😑

Solar • 11 months ago

Of course he fought him 1 on 1 it didn’t matter if it wasn’t lasted that long he still fought him

MGK • 11 months ago

😑 A fight between a adult and a child who barely put a scratch on the adult isn't a fight it's basically just luffy stopping a kids temper tantrum

Solar • 11 months ago

They're Basically the same age Probably like 2 to 2 1⁄2 years apart from each other it's just that luffy has more intense battle experience than him

KuroPanda • 3 months ago

Luffy got real talk there by kaido

Passing Witness • 11 months ago

and literally before him saying that thought crossed my mind about almost the same thing.

Arã Arã • 11 months ago

Gum-Gum no pistoolll lol

Seven • 11 months ago

What is this magical infinite ammo Izo uses? he has two pistols but he fires them like a heavy machinegun wtf ROFL

Nikko Sisou • 11 months ago

Be funny if he was just shooting bullets made of straight up haki.

Seven • 11 months ago

they could have at least told us if this was the case LOL

Nikko Sisou • 11 months ago

I mean it's one piece, if they spell out things like that too then it'll take even longer before we finish wano. D:

Vados • 11 months ago

Yep. There'll be whole flashback, probably 2 episodes worth.

King Luffy • 6 months ago

Yeah, then we would had 2000+ episode instead of 1000+ until now.
Also there are some things that we need to understand by ourselves.

Ny3 • 11 months ago

Sorry did I say six shooter? I meant six hundred shooter.

King • 9 months ago

bro has a semi automatic flintlock LMAO

Rooxon • 11 months ago

Toon Force powers - screw physical rules; some go scientific and say the animation just doesn't cover them reloading, that those scenes ended up on the cutting room floor, to keep the pace of the action flowing.

EnteryGT • 11 months ago

My dude, he is legit using musket pistols, it is one shot and then reload.

Vince :D • 11 months ago

that's what I was thinking! unlimited ammo 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Asterr • 2 months ago

Lmao I was about to comment same thing like wtf Izo's gun has unlimited ammo

Extio • 5 months ago

they look like muzzle loaded pistols, single shot. he getting gun powder from the same magical source as the ammo.

Samsz • 11 months ago

Izo with an old like gun going Brrrrrrrrraa tatatata !!

Rayquaze • 11 months ago

American Haki style

Background Nerd Guy n°24 • 11 months ago

He really went and said :

I am now Bayonetta, reloading is for losers

Marktherapist • 11 months ago

Most intellectual samurai ever

sam JD • 11 months ago

why?

Vince :D • 11 months ago

reference to a joke: why use a blade when you can just shoot a gun

Gilad Ohayon • 11 months ago

Reminds me of the Naruto joke "Rasengun".

Bleh • 11 months ago

Make sense in our world, but really not in theirs.

Gilad Ohayon • 11 months ago

Back in the day, fighting from distance was considered as cowardice, but as time passed, people let go of their pride in order to win battles and wars.

Rastko • 11 months ago

I love how the series ignores reloading in favour of showing how strong characters who use guns are. Even though it's a flintlock pistol, he uses it as a sub-machine gun with no recoil whatsoever.

Power Ed • 11 months ago

How doesn't nigga run outta bullets tho?!

Evilhead • 11 months ago

bullets made by haki lol
